On an island barely visible from the shore stands a large and peculiar house. The owner is the completely crazy treasure hunter Billy Kobb, whom no one has seen for ages. Strange sounds still emanate from the island, eerie roars that defy explanation. The last people who ventured out there never returned. The island is dangerous. When Ask and his friends Iris and Eik row out to Kobb’s house in the middle of the night, it’s not because they particularly want to. The gang is helping Daniela, a mysterious girl who showed up at the start of the summer vacation. She has a mission on the island. It turns out that a visit to Kobb’s house is even weirder, funnier, and more life-threatening than any of them could have imagined.

Kobb’s House is a crazy and exciting tribute to treasure hunting, near-death experiences, honey badgers, and angry polar bears. Most of all, it’s a story about four good friends who dare to go on an adventure, even though they know better.
